2021 Updates!
It doesn’t seem to end, does it? We had such high hopes for Summer 2021 and beyond. But no matter what’s going on in the world, Justin and I are confident that holding fast to hope and also staying faithful in the things we are responsible for will help us ride through any storm. In line with this mantra, we are constantly looking for ways to improve and grow- thus, we are VERY excited to announce two new gorgeous frame lines to our Cornerstone collection.
Matsuda
We brought in this gorgeous Japanese-made eyewear brand in the middle of last winter. Justin and I were wow-ed by their craftsmanship, detailing, and quality. Each pair of eyeglasses is intricately made, oozing sophistication and comfort. (Every time I pick up a frame, I feel like I’m handling a piece of art.) Matsuda has made its home with us for almost half a year now and has already proven to be a favorite amongst our patients, young & old.
ic berlin!
Funnily enough, ic berlin! was actually one of the first independent eyewear companies that we looked into when we were first building Cornerstone in 2018. But fate has brought us together again! Now, with a better understanding of our patient demographic and their needs, we are thrilled to add ic berlin’s sleek, modern, futuristic look to our optical. They developed the original no-screw temple hinge and provide many nosepad/low-bridge options.
It’s obviously been a challenging year and a half as a small business owner. Justin and I love what we do. We love taking care of your eye care needs and developing lasting relationships with everyone who walks into our little practice. I’ve dialed back since having our pandemic baby last year and I’m not physically at Cornerstone as much as before, but thank you to everyone who has inquired after us and sent their well wishes! I’m always here, behind the scenes, and the goal is to be more present in the years to come :) Thank you for trusting us with your eye health, for choosing us as your eye care providers, and letting us have fun with you while we pick out the perfect frames for you (one of our favorite parts!)
Here’s hoping for a safe end of summer and early fall!
